New South Radio, Inc. Outreach Initiatives:

Internships:

In the spring of 2018, Kathryn Tate interned with New South Radio, Inc.  Ms. Tate was a stand-out intern who showed great enthusiasm for experiencing all aspects of broadcasting.  She learned how to run remotes and was an asset during the annual Radiothon.  She was very creative and helped the sales staff write and produce commercials.  In addition, she helped the sales team with digital issues.  She always worked above and beyond.

From June 4 – July 20, 2018 John Lee joined New South Radio, Inc. as an intern.  While at the station Mr. Lee’s focus was on production and the traffic system.  He learned how to enter commercials into our broadcasting system.  He also helped write and produce commercials.  His assistance with the organization and logistics of the Y101 Money Ball ensured a smooth operation of one of the stations biggest promotions.  John displayed a positive attitude with and we appreciated the time he spent with us.
